MAS Mediation Advanced Skills

We are preparing a European a DAPHNE III application covering the 2011 priority 4.1.5 Training programmes (Tpfp) :

“The Commission wishes to support projects involving the preparation and delivery of the programmes including the creation of manuals and protocols for professionals in contact with victims (police, judicial, social workers, health staff or people working in the area of specialised victim support)”

Project Title	MAS Mediation Advanced Skills for operators
Project Leader and Partners	Lead: FOREDA IT Life long learning vocational training agency Partner : Associazione d’Accord IT Associazione d'Accord (AdA) promotes communication and dispute resolution courses for: - mediator trainers - mediators - lawyers, accountants and other parties’ assistants. AdA develops innovative learning methodologies on dispute resolution and promotes the culture of mediation together with agencies, associations and people. AdA offers voluntary mediation services, usually in co-mediation. Interdisciplinary skills in our teams allow to find the ideal mediator group according to the case. Including local and national IT supporter and target groups in voluntary and mediation sectors
Summary/Abstract	The project provides advanced training courses for mediation skills for operators in contact with young victims of violence.
Objectives	The project has the following aims: •        Promote awareness of the importance of mediation skills for operators •        Providing the tools to improve mediation skills
Actions	Develop and test an educational training package to promote mediation skills  for operators in contact with young victims (under 18) of violence. Provide mediation skill training courses: the key target group is operators in contact with young victims of violence. Follow-up
